Thirteen eager volunteers gathered in the Leeds office for a briefing on the Harvest Fast Day resources. As always, the team of volunteers were keen to share experiences of the work in our schools and were ready to support each other with their creative ideas. The primary fast day materials were greatly appreciated and the volunteers once again remarked on the quality of the resources and the scope they gave for delivering a lively presentation for the children.
In the afternoon Joanne, Diocesan Officer for Leeds, led a workshop for those volunteers who needed to develop skills in using Power Point. The day was an enjoyable experience for all concerned and finished off with a photo of the volunteers proudly wearing their new badges.
