3 tips to help you make the most of your Will guide
Have you recently downloaded or received a postal copy of our Will-writing guide? With so much valuable information to consider, Lily from CAFOD’s legacy team shares three tips to help you make the most of your guide.
1. 🌏Discover the impact your Will can have on the world
Imagine helping Lucelia in Liberia to get the training she needed to become independent or supporting the project in Peru that provided a space for Jean-Pierre to feel safe, learn and enjoy his favourite books. Your Will can make a huge difference to the lives of our sisters and brothers around the world. Explore more inspiring examples on pages 9-10 of your guide.
2. ✍️Utilise your handy planner to gather your thoughts
Don’t forget about Your Will Planner included with your guide. It’s an excellent starting point to organise your thoughts and outline your wishes, making the process smoother and quicker when you meet with your Will-writer. Remember you can also use CAFOD’s Free Will Service to make or update your Will.
3. 🎁Ensure you have the key details for including a gift
If you have already decided to leave a gift in your Will you might just need the key details which your Will-writer will include when they draw up your plans. In the navy box on page 16 you can find all these details including our registered charity number, or see below:
